But you are right… there are other options… how ever I’m kind of an apple fan….. but I am willing to trade in my iPhone 17 for a new fairphone gen6 with e/OS or have it fundraised!

I did not try it myself over here in France, but it seems that bank apps are ok with e/os/, as well as France Identité, the virtual national ID card.

@fresseng To be honest, many countries, but also me, are quite envious of France. At first, we found it irritating that you always did your own thing. Now we realise that you are actually on the right track.
It was foolish of us not to take a closer look at that. France has done well.
Even though it still annoys us sometimes.

So its good that those apps work in france on e/OS.
In the Netherlands, banks and DigiD have problems with e/OS.

@cyclotopie @fresseng Depending on the app, reproducible or not, there might not even be a different "fdroid version" anyway. The issue is having developers not frustrated enough to give up entirely.
