Something that is not really acknowledged in the #US is that the white middle class has long been a beneficiary of #WhiteSupremacy which also means it serves as a protector of that system. The #Democrats, especially the establishment of that party, know this perfectly well. They are protectors of #neoliberalism and #capitalism and, ultimately #fascism. They will continue to be useless in this fight.
The deep fight, the real #resistance will have to tap into the real #struggle of #ClassWar.

Class war is not the same as White Supremacy, and the Democratic party is primarily Black & Brown. It is the height of #WhitePrivilege for White Leftists/DSA to reject solidarity with the vast majority of Black/Brown people, demand they abandon their own values and goals and instead adopt class war goals which mostly benefit the White working class.
How about this? Join together with us, the only realistic alternarive to GOP fascism, and demand more change while inside the tent?

To this day we white Americans, have never reckoned with these fundamental truths of US history. And the #fascism we see unfolding now is the chickens coming home to roost.
#ICE is the brutal, violent TRUTH of 500 years of American #Colonialism.
If you don't see it then you're not looking hard enough and you are still deep in your practice of #whitesupremacy.
We don't get to pretend these truths away because they are inconvenient or uncomfortable. Our lives are built on them.
All the nice homes of suburban America, the plush carpets, the two car garages filled with cars, extra fridges, boxes of too much stuff, the green lawns and strip malls, this is the bribe of comfort, the "reward" and goal of a life of playing by the rules, working hard, etc that white middle class America has been told is the point of life here, the expression of "Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness."
It is also the lie that we benefit from #capitalism or that it is natural.
