I've mentioned this before, but one thing I've been closely watching for is when crypto people begin to distance themselves from Trump.

@molly0xfff Is n>1 here? As far as I know it isn't. A majority of crypto people is far right anyway so they're politically OK. And wait until #Trump forces interest rates down, they will stand cheering if only because crypto prices will rise.
@molly0xfff I can't help but notice the language of "Trump is doing so and so good" when it suits vs. "Trump **administration** is doing so and so bad". That's the language used in #egypt and other autocratic countries.

Call me biased, but I tend to think crypto was going to die a death on its own.

@molly0xfff I think you're very smart to keep an eye on this as a part of everything you do, but what does it mean for them to "distance themselves?"
Is this just more of "he's not delivering in his promises" or is there something bigger going on? The #cryptocurrency field is so chaotic that I can't really make heads or tails on a normal day. Add in presidential weigh-in and investment, however, and I'm really lost as to what anything really means.

@lids @ktneely @molly0xfff i doubt there's such a thing for crypto, the problem is that retail is not joining the party and they're the source of actual US dollars, so i suspect actual US dollars are getting tight
