@de_Jong_Tom @totbwf sadly my university took it even further, disabling access to any client other than Outlook. 🤮
@neuralreckoning If you set up DavMail with the right ClientID (as described) then it will look like the Outlook client to the email server, so that should work, I think.

For posterity, I've just written it up for Ubuntu 24.04 with davmail and Thunderbird, with as much detail as I could muster (I envision I'll have to send this URL around a lot).
