Microsoft Cumsprite has a name now, apparently https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2025/10/microsoft-makes-copilot-human-centered-with-a-90s-style-animated-assistant/

mico

(mike-o)

EDIT: "meco" is Mexican slang for cum, so

@davidgerard the reason #microsoft keep trying is because they don’t know why these things are rejected.

Nobody is thinking “I’d love interruptions in my work as long as they are helpful and in natural English.”

People don’t want spontaneous interruptions while they are working. People do not like unpredictable computer experiences when they are trying to work.

@paco you might think that a gigantic and successful enterprise software company would understand the concept that people who work for a living loathe nothing more than gratuitous disruptions to their workflow

AND FUCKING YET

@davidgerard "hey boss, remember how everyone loves WinXP and everything was 'My This', 'My That'?"

"Sure"

"Let's call it 'My Copilot'"

"I've just had a great idea, let's call it 'Mico'. I'm a genius!"

Your friendly faced, resource intensive, data spying, plagiarising, synthetic text generator.

Tells you how great all of your ideas are and also: 1 + 2 + 3 = 15.
