The presentation "Terminal-mode GNOME" by @n8 can be seen here:

Very useful for someone who runs a simple window manager with lots of terminal stuff, but needs to integrate with apps from time to time.

I think that the "open" or "xdg-open" command can be a replacement for many programs offering menu launchers for apps.

@blandford @Migueldeicaza

@saper It's worth noting, as you know if you've clicked through (and others will soon) that the repo doesn't yet have the stuff talked about — mainly because I decided that it would need a lot of documentation to explain how all the little scripts work together & where all the config files have to go.

Hope to get to that this week; inconveniently I had to leave GUADEC early to get over to another event in Oregon....

Last talk of the day — and last formal talk of #guadec. Lightning talks part two:

- yours truly talking about the great work by some GSoC students in gnome crossword
- @zeenix talking about zlink -- a dbus replacement
- Tobias, Andreas, and Julian continued yesterday's talk about Local First. Curse of the real time demo struck. But having seen it work yesterday, it's pretty cool.
- Neil's presenting gnurd. Wild talk about tracking 💩. Very entertaining, but serious point at the end.
