@j12t 3) If you have a novel idea, from a nicer set of rules for a mastodon server (like social.coop being a democracy), through a totally new software or user experience (like, you name it, bandwagon.fm), you can be part of the complete fediverse from day one. No need to become an evil oligopolist pushing out all alternatives before your platform gets value.
