@strk Unfortunately, there's no directory yet because Bandwagon.fm is the only one in production. That's not the goal, just the result of this still being a very new project.

I'm eager to change this, and am working with several people in different stages of launching their own #Bandwagon servers - though none are ready to move forward yet :(

And if you'd like a server dedicated to jazztodon.com, I'd love to help. Just let me know!

@mradcliffe These articles are cool! And, they'd be awesome additions to this kind of geolocation project -- geo-verse? local-verse? what do we call this?

My plan is to use #Bandwagon's federated search engine for this. Admins could choose sites (such as yours) to index and could list all ActivityStreams that include `location` data.

So, your Elephant sanctuary could *absolutely* show up on an Atlas site.. though I might have different opinions about where to find the best Jambalaya shops ;)

I'm collecting info for a Federated #Map server. Something that would let people share info and comment on what's going on at specific places out in the world.

There are lots of ways this might be useful to our community, so I've written a super-rough-draft spec on my website.

I work for a software and DevOps consultancy firm, which means that I get an assignment to build software for one of my company's customers. (I'm on a US DOD cybersecurity contract).

I'm sitting in the monthly All-Hands meeting, and I had to turn off my camera, because I didn't want everyone to see how much I'm rolling my eyes right now.

Our Chief Digital Officer says that a recent MIT study shows that only 5% of new software projects built on AI actually make it to market. And that's why we have to go all in on AI to fill that market gap where others are failing.

He also started by saying that as we move towards AI-focused work, we're doing so to "distinguish ourselves". Yeah. We're going to "distinguish ourselves" by jumping into the bandwagon that everyone else is jumping into.
