Happy James Bond Day to those who celebrate! On Her Majesty's Secret Service (OHMSS) remains my all-time favourite instalment! I'll never forget watching a rerun on ITV and playing with Action Man/Action Force toys in the early eighties! #JamesBond

It's the kind of auroras right now where it just looks like a greenish smudge to your eyes, but then you take a photo and it's ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE
Please enjoy this lovely instrument (a camera) that lets us see a bunch of colours too faint for our eyeballs!
@Zendadaist they are. But the availability of spare parts mean they out last most other options.
The first Googlebooks are available starting today. The laptops run a desktop OS based on Android, but some apps & games may only work on Googlebooks with Arm chips at launch, since most Android apps were made for Arm-based smartphones, not for systems with x86 chips. https://www.androidauthority.com/googlebooks-android-app-support-complicated-3718943/ #GooglebooksWithIntelChipsMightNotSupportAllAndroidApps #Googlebooks #Android
Agreed. Today I attempt to re-person myself in the eyes of the financial machine.

(To be clear: The above post is meant to be humorous; Codeberg is not actually down this morning.

Die Forderung nach mehr Befugnissen wäre vielleicht seriöser, wenn Geheimdienste jemals weniger Befugnisse gefordert hätten.
@rbreich no, it's redistribution from poor and middle-class to rich, by means of weaponizing inflation.

@elettrona
they ran into a problem that many companies who serve the blind face, they are a small company and when they try and do something that takes a lot of money, they have difficulty surviving. Agiga had better have a lot of money behind them and I know they care about working with the blind. Meta is a huge company but, I don't believe their interest is in helping the blind its nice if they can but, they are out there serving a huge public who don't need the same things in product as would blind people. I'm not interested in Meta at all, look what they have done accessibility wise to Facebook. I might checkout Agiga sometime in the future.
@JohnGassman It's when a small company wants to have big projects with a small niche. It's not matter of blindness or else, but of the quantity of users covering that niche. Like if you say, "translate this software in a language spoken in a small island of the world.
I can't believe people are actually celebrating the death of Dennis Hastert just because
*reads literally anything about Dennis Hastert*
Oh. Carry on then.
Just put my homemade cosmic microwave background rug over the baby’s crib
This is I think my biggest problem with the passkey ecosystem. It’s very poorly explained and yet every site is very eager to get me to switch to passkeys without making sure the user knows anything about what’s going on or the implications of any of it.
Okay, update: I’ve been told that the automatic passkey upgrade is only meant to create a passkey in the same password manager the password came from, so it shouldn’t grant persistent access to the credentials to someone who didn’t have access to the password. The fact I may have gotten a passkey in a password manager that I don’t normally use looks like a bug, not how this is meant to work.
