How much do I love my omg.lol account? It doesn't expire for TWELVE more years. I think I added more time during a big sale a couple of years, but, it's great. I'm not even SUPER involved in everything (not on Discord, for example) but everything I am involved in is great, and everyone I've met, up to and including @neatnik, has been lovely.

SOS: the israeli occupation has again illegally and violently intercepted our international fleet of humanitarian vessels and abducted our volunteers as they undertake a legitimate mission to break the illegal siege on Gaza and open a humanitarian corridor.
States have an obligation to protect their citizens.
Flag states under whose jurisdiction our boats are registered have an obligation to protect those vessels and prosecute acts of piracy in their courts.
We are outraged by the normalization of these violations of international maritime law and the kidnapping of peaceful civilians in international waters. We demand the immediate release of our participants, the safe passage of our entire fleet, and an end to the illegal siege of Gaza.

Milley obviously thought it was not out of the realm of possibility that Trump would respond to losing the election by literally nuking someone. You don't do, what he did, otherwise.
I would however think, that's what it would take - an order to nuke someone might, MIGHT, shake his hold over the military. Maybe.
You see why I'm not loving that bet though right? I do genuinely believe however this possibility, however remote, is probably why Trump hasn't already nuked Iran.

@slothrop For some reason, these people's self-declared definition of masculinity has been accepted as the real one in media, when as far as I can tell, most men just want to have a hobby or two and hang out with their family and/or pets.
It's like when "women's media" pushes a narrative about whatever new fashion has been concocted in the 3rd circle of hell, and most of us are just like "I'll rewear my cerulean blue sweater from 12 years ago, tyvm"

@brianb We make esters in test tubes on a hot water bath. No isolation of product, just smelling it.
I don't have an english procedure, but it's something like this:
Mix 2 mL alcohol and 2 mL acid in a test tube. Carefully add 0,5 mL 98% H₂SO₄. Mix again, using a pipette.
Place the test tube in 80 °C hot water. Temperature doesn't really matter, but don't exceed the alcohol's bp. After 10 min pour everything in to a 100 mL beaker half filled with water, preferably outside. Inhale.
