Today's innovation was someone saw a post – not by me, not in reply to me, not that I replied to or even knew existed until that moment, by someone I don't know – and didn't like it, so they started @'ing me about it as if it were my fault and I should feel bad about it. Please, I work so hard on all these takes, if you want to be mad at me then take the time to get mad at what I did write!

It's interesting that, during the cold war, propaganda both the USA and USSR told a lot of lies about what was communism to try to influence opinion. The USSR claimed bad things that were not communism were, to justify doing them. The USA claimed good things that were not communism were, to justify not doing them.
Peter G. Neumann, renowned computer scientist, ARPANET/Internet pioneer and expert on technology risks, working at SRI International since 1971, has died at age 93. Peace. He has been my friend and colleague for over half a century. He will be greatly missed.
@lauren Just this morning I was writing something that was, in essence, a reply to a conversation we had... 14 years ago.
I was making sure that the points he raised, still relevant to my arguments, were properly addressed and was wondering "Should I send him a 'thinking of you'' note?"

Now when people don't have "signal" enough to submit more reports on hackerone they instead switch over and hammer us with a flood over email. We keep repeating that we cannot manage reports over email. We drown, we lose track of them and we can't easily publish them after they're handled...
Nou Einstein, het is wel mooi jouw partij (#VVD) geweest die de basis van de door jouw (rake) geschetste problemen heeft gelegd. Verder aangewakkerd door partijen rechts van de VVD. Verder ook door het normaliseren van extreemrechts door vrijwel alle partijen (behalve PvdD en BIJ1).
