@Sheril it's weird to me that this paper tested both the open world games and "studio ghibli nostalgia" at the same time.
My mother, the last member of my family aside from me, is in very serious condition and also in deep, practiced denial about it. She refuses any kind of medical care for religious reasons that I do not share, putting me in a very difficult spot as her medical power of attorney. Everything is extraordinarily fucked up in ways I won’t even try to explain. I may not be sharing much of anything here during this time.

@dexter @dch Yeah I used Silicom stuff on the algorithmic trading job I had back in 2010-2011. Just having pluggable SFPs, plus running XORP for multicast routing, meant the prop desk could just rock up to COMEX in Chicago at 350 E. Cermak without the Cisco / Juniper / Arista baggage. Just plug and go.

I just need to take a moment to say how absolutely marvellous you lot are.
Day after day after day I pop onto my feed and discover a world of joy, kindness, beauty, wisdom and insight. I learn about ant farms, whittling wood, sunsets in the Baltic, bees in Bavaria, film baths in Bath, pottery in Portland, and just loads more.
I get to see all the things that make you smile, and that makes me smile too. I get to see what matters to you folks. And I am reminded that there are so many good people in the world who really do care about this planet and the creatures we share it with.
I am a better person for being here, and that's because the rest of you are here too.
