Do you do a pass for easy deletion (blurry, etc) then a pass of favorites, then edit those favorites? Do you try to tell a story with each photo? @parkr I think I talked about this on a past episode at length. Short version: one pass to delete bad ones and mark favorites, then a second pass to edit every favorite.

It's more complex than that due to RAW vs. JPEG/HEIC handling, but this is the gist of it. I have RAWs for all my favorites, non-RAW for everything else (to save space).

The US government has designated the Italian collective Autistici/Inventati, which produces the infrastructure of NoBlogs.org, a "Specially Designated Global Terrorist," freezing their assets and prohibiting all transactions with them——citing their "far-left" politics and the fact that they have provided services to "anti-fascist" groups for justification.

Autistici/Inventati is an activist-oriented tech project that offers encrypted communications tools, email, web hosting, secure chat, and video conferencing platforms for users who prefer to stay off corporate grids.

This is what the US government is shutting down as "terrorism."

I've seen this pointed out in an internal discussion and it's absolutely fascinating: it seems that the output of Anthropic's LLMs is becoming increasingly verbose and convoluted the larger the model gets. This has gotten to the point that it's becoming grating to users.

We've seen a huge amount of ways in which LLMs can fail, but "the computer sounds like a obnoxious toxic co-worker" is a brand new one.

A graph about the language complexity of Anthropic large-language models. It's broken up in four categories: answer length, sentence length and clause frequency all of which went up with more advanced models, and long content words which had the opposite behavior. The overal results seem to point to advanced models being increasingly verbose while also being increasingly convoluted and repetitive.
