C’est introuvable et ça semble être un truc assez bordélique au point que même des avocats n’en ont pas de réponse claire… 🤔
Les seules décisions trouvables semblent vachement plus centrées sur la notion de « même sens » (implicite -> explicite, explicite non motivé -> explicite motivée), mais sur la notion de portée, je ne trouve rien comme exemple vraiment intéressant et compréhensible…

@arstechnica my recommendation used to be to avoid them (US maga gov) wherever possible, keep your head down and if you're forced to engage, just keep them busy with bureaucracy and housekeeping crap.
I'm beginning to think it's time for every state around the world to push back and use trade-retaliation at every turn. Make them an embattled pariah state.

I don't think prisons should exist.
I don't think a free society is compatible with carceral "justice".
I also would not expect a politician to accomplish prison abolition. I don't think that is possible from within this political system. I think this political system needs to go.
I could still hope for someone to enact policies that ensure prisoners have real fucking food to eat & receive medical care & whatever else. Not because it is the solution, but because it would bring some relief.

Ray-tracing is a technique combining fast hardware with clever software to render photorealistic images! Most movies today, and increasingly games, are rendered using ray-tracing.
To be clear: Ray-tracing isn't really a new thing, its just getting more popular now that our hardware can afford it. Some of the earliest CGI was raytraced (using Signed Distance Fields to model their geometries), & build-time "baking" raytraced shadows into scenes has long been common. Myst was raytraced!

Ray-tracing works by simulating the paths of numerous random light-rays from simulated lights to a simulated camera. Or rather we simulate in reverse (formulas are the same) so significantly more of the lightrays are relevant. Though this does introduce biases to correct.
We arguably never will be able to simulate every single light-ray, but we can simulate enough.
To efficiently decide which surface a light-ray bounces off of we use data-structures called Bounded Volume Hierarchies.
