We took Indie to MoPA Sandringham for the first time today! omg she LOVED it. The slides, the "city", the dress-ups, the under-2s climbing area, the section with the balls that get pushed through tubes by pumped air and come flying out the other end… she thought it was all great 😆 We paid for an annual membership, because it's much more cost-effective than one-off visits, and I think we'll be going back all the time.

If your agent isn't properly interpreting a 403 response, that's what kids these days call a “you problem”.

But yes, block-by-default is annoying af, and I think I'm going to apply the same policy as I did to sites 10 years ago when disabling JavaScript caused them to display a blank page: turn around, leave, and take my eyeballs elsewhere.

I’ve been working with computers for five decades. Some people view me as an “expert” in certain subjects.

And I can tell you that when I am learning a new technology I still feel like the dumbest newb on the planet. I make tons of mistakes. I go down stupid rabbit holes of my own making. I have tons of self doubt.

So give yourself some grace. Everybody goes through this phase. Take a deep breath. Believe that you can do this.

@dsilverman No, it's not. Apple added a feature called "Split View" back after protests from users when iOS 26 was launched (and it didn't have Split View anymore); but it works very differently from iOS 18.
