We saw a badger in the garden! And I tried really hard to take a picture of it! And.... if you squint you might be able to convince yourself the blur in the middle of the picture is a badger!
(I am happy to have badgers, because they eat rodents that eat my garden. I just hope the badger is not hanging around during dog walking time)

"Opinionated" software sounds great until you find out the author has the stupidest opinions you've ever heard in your life.
Airport run done and done. Literally (in the true meaning of the word - actually literally) my very least favourite thing to do in the whole entire universe. It fills me with dread. My eyesight is poor even with my new super contacts. Primarily because people keep making me collect them in the middle of the night. And when it's raining. Interestingly satnav doesn't work for Gatwick. That seems utterly baffling to me. The one place it's critical. A labrinthine maze of twists and turns and people all tired and confused. And so you have to just get to the general area and then read the road signs like it's the 1800s. I hate it. I hate uncertainty. I hate last minute changes to plans. I hate being on my own in high stress situations. It is a neurodivergent nightmare. An actual nightmare. It's sort of baffling (once again) that people don't understand this. I don't think I could have explained it any clearer. Maybe they think I don't mean it? Or there's a general sense I'm just being a bit silly and should just get over it. Anyway it's done and I've had a burrito. The end.
@TheBreadmonkey The central truth of this story is that Gatwick is a terrible place.

@farah A (now former) friend kept stealing chips from my plate. They'd asked for 1 and on the 5th or 6th I asked them to stop but they kept "forgetting" and stealing more.
Eventually I said "If you swipe any more chips, I'll stab you with my fork".
A few mins later, friend swiped another chip "forgot" and I tapped them not-hard with the tines of my fork.
You'd think I'd murdered them by the noise made. But they never took food off my plate again...
I just made a full LTE only video call over Veilid.

I think the plotting of the different parties is accurate though (by 2026 standards) there's a linier chart I keep seeing shared on Bluesky that clusters most mainstream parties on the far-right which I think is inaccurate and unhelpful
