@davidgerard @henryk The main ongoing use case for nuclear that I can see is for decarbonizing shipping. The alternative zero carbon power sources are all a bit crap (synthetic fuels: energetically inefficient, ammonia: poisonous as fuck, batteries: range-limited, sails: don't scale up to ULCC size, don't work if no wind).
I assume we will DESPERATELY need bulk shipping this century as our agricultural stability craters, to ship food from still-productive regions into famine zones.

I'd like to mention in no way I am a professional, I just mess around with laptops, but the first thing I would recommend is get the correct name and model of the laptop and go to Ifixit website and see if there is a guide for opening your device.
And there is definitely something wrong with your device, it should be booting, so it could be a couple of issues, the battery went or there was a fault with the motherboard they provided or maybe even a wire came loose.
But if you open the device the warranty will be void, so it is up to you, but my personal experience with sending laptops back to the company, is they don't really fix it at all and in fact took 6 months before I got my device back, and it still wasn't fixed.
That of course is all my personal experience and it could be different for you. It might be worth sending it back and if it still isn't fixed then attempt to find another place or try to fix it yourself?

Disconnect the charger and all USB devices. Press the Power button for a full minute. Plug the charger back in. Wait 5 minutes and then try to power on.
If that doesn't make a difference, try letting it charge overnight.
If that still doesn't work, it might be necessary to ship it for repair under warranty.

Cake forks have three tines, which is ideal for cake but too little for everything else.
Neptune’s trident also has three tines, which is ideal for impaling the unworthy, but is too big for eating. Also too sharp. Please do not attempt to eat with Neptune’s trident.
So I suspect there is more than the number of tines to defining the optimal fork.
Also, I got to use tines in a post (fuck you Apple, no I did not mean ‘times’, stop auto ‘correcting’ a valid word to a different and wrong word) which makes me happy because it is a fun word.

OMG. How have I never heard the 'Rockstar' album by Dolly Parton? The covers and duets are phenomenal. Her husband, Carl, always wanted her to record a rock album, and she did it. And it is everything.
