@kboyd @smallsco @hukl I'm not so convinced. The first thing it tries to download when building from source is some commercial open-core code editor. That alone smells bad enough for me to stay away from this openlogi thing until enough of you trusting pioneers test it, and prove it's clean.
And maybe by then it even reaches my distro's package repositories!

For those interested in an in-person #pdx #emacs event, a few of us nerds are meeting Tuesday, 15 September 2026 at 6:00pm at the Lucky Lab brewpub on Hawthorne Street for a PDX Emacs Social Hour.
While this event will primarily be social, I figured if we enjoy these gatherings enough, we'll might find a place with a projector and nerdout like we did in the previous decade.

I do think you're right about the complexities of IPv6 provisioning writ large, but I also think none of that is Wireguard's fault?
@mttaggart @Netzblockierer Sorry, I'm bouncing around between topics here, describing several different desires at once. In this case I do want a ULA, because I want static IPs to put into a DNS, and for what I am currently using it for, WireGuard is totally fine. My wish for public IPs is totally separate from the use-case I described above.
