Israel has given Gaza residents a three-day ultimatum to stop launching incendiary kites, or it will launch a large-scale air attack. In a bizarre twist, a nuclear-armed state that practices terrorism daily and is accused of committing genocide in Gaza is mobilizing its forces and ordering them to violently suppress the kites launched by Gazan children seeking a semblance of childhood amidst the rubble.

@jpm what project did you start and get to approximately 23% completion?
It seems to me that it’s much harder to find a copy of The Economist in a
US airport shop behind security this year.
I try to turn it off.
But doing some work that involves a bunch of spreadsheets interlinked and working my way through them and knowing where I am up to.
Easier to let the pc got to sleep and jump back in where I left off, rather than opening them up again.

Today it really feels like the UK should have kept Mark Carney.
Sort of the way the UK should have kept comedian John Oliver, the EU, actor Anthony Hopkins, actor Emilia Clarke, inventor Alexander Graham Bell, the Dyson company, and Lloyds.
Well at least Britain kept The Original London bridge.
Wait… no… NO WAY!

There’s specifically a bunch of “history” channels that do this, on various topics such as computer games.
It’s heartbreaking to read comments from people who wonder why the channel doesn’t have more subscribers—and they feel so awful when they learn from other commenters that they’ve been suckling on slop teats.
@thomasfuchs it is so hard to find any real hand-made content on the corporate socials media platforms.
And I swear if I hear another one of those AI voice-narrated videos that use the same two voice-patterns ...
@randahl The problem being that if you had tried, that would have been an act of war. ;)
@alan I am not sure I follow?
Crunchyroll needs a better recommendation algorithm. It pretty much just recommends shows I’ve already watched or am currently watching, and that’s not helpful for discovering new shows.
@ramsey whatcha watching these days?
Astounding. Peak "Age of Sail" technology.
