I'm attempting to figure out what exactly France is banning for minors. Facebook etc? Mastodon? Bluesky? Forums? ...? I found the legal text https://www.assemblee-nationale.fr/dyn/17/textes/l17b3069_texte-adopte-commission but it references a bunch of definitions in other places which I've failed to find so far. Doesn't help I don't speak French. Help?

DID YOU KNOW: In #GoToSocial, if you go to your account settings and change your layout to "Gram-style", you can set the web view of your profile to show an instagram-like grid of photos to visitors.

This is handy for folks that primarily post photographs or other media and want to highlight that when people visit their profile on the web :)

We wrote this feature quite a while ago but not that many people know about it!

Trying to upgrade to MX Linux 25 today, using the same old liveUSB method that has worked many times before. But after the initial splash screen asking me to select the sysvinit or systemd version, it proceeds to boot to a command line instead of a desktop, and tells me how to do a command line install. uh....what?

I'm not seeing anyone else having this problem anywhere online, and it's making me hella' grumpy.

i really want to switch my desktop back over to primarily linux again (waiting and praying for SSD prices to come down a bit currently, don’t wanna double up installs on one drive) but every time i see someone in the replies somewhere saying some variant of „PEOPLE SHOULD SIMPLY SWITCH TO LINUX“ it hits an impulse to not want to do it purely out of spite that i have to consciously push to the side
