There is a really important discussion that is never had about how Musk regularly shifts resources between entities that we are told are wholly separate (and yes he's brought a bunch together but still).

Hi everyone, let’s see if I can #getfedihired 😁
I recently completed my Master’s degree in Computer Science at the University of Stuttgart, and am looking for job opportunities, remote or in-person (preferably around Stuttgart). I’m primarily qualified for and interested in embedded and hardware-adjacent software/firmware. Main languages are Rust (preferred), C++, and Python.
I can send full CV in English and German on request. See also: https://filmroellchen.eu/cv/

Elon Musk now claims it is Trump who has restricted Ukraine's use of Musk's satellite internet.
If that is true, a NATO partner is now preventing Ukraine from leveraging a key technology against the Russian invasion.
Please ask Secretary General Mark Rutte, if a NATO partner can side with the enemy and still remain a NATO partner.
@randahl
Mark Rutte will just grin and demonstrate how not having a spine allows him to tickle Trump's tonsils with his tongue from the backside.
@melissa Obligatory "the Forbes 30 Under 30 -to-prison pipeline" mention.
Imagine being so brainwashed and having so little ability to think beyond what’s put infront of your face, that you lash out to protect child rapists because your favourite TV man says so.
Actually just incredibly funny for Epic to literally go "programming is hard :(" in an official statement
@eniko bragging about one's mediocrity is the most improbable trend ever
We're probably going to see FOSS split up into a #neverslop and a techbro camp. I think it's inevitable, given recent developments around the Linux kernel etc. But as sad as this may me, I think it's for the better in the end. Because parting ways with those who don't care about their work and the people around them will make it possible to build resilient communities in which folks can collaborate on a much higher standard than before.
@scarpyro they come in pairs!! @KarenKasparArt

@fireborn I've donated through the sponsor thing, I had to restart it at one point as it lapsed but I'm one of the few that actually supports your work financially like that. @FreakyFwoof @Mudb0y @zersiax @simon
@alexchapman @FreakyFwoof @Mudb0y @zersiax @simon I very much appreciate it. Any amount helps.
This week I saw "You Can See Everything" and wow.
Intense, funny, much more surprising than many other films (as I expect from Nathan Fielder), gorgeous.
And: how I absolutely crave movies that do not Bed Of Procrustes themselves into some focus-grouped action-and-banter sequence aimed at teens and structured to be just as shallowly enjoyable if you're in and out of the room, or half looking at your phone.
Even more than some other documentaries, this is a movie for patient, attentive adults. Not so much because of the bits of profanity and nudity, or even the science or startup-business-y exposition, as its willingness to be slow and subtle, and the range of psychological topics it explores.
@brainwane I'm so jealous. It isn't playing at any theatres within a 150km radius. I actually reached out to a local quasi-indie theatre to ask if they would consider bringing it in (a first for me), but no reply.
Especially now that we've taken in most of season 1 of The Rehearsal, which has gone in some fascinating and unexpected directions, I want to see what Fielder does with this subject matter...
Augh 😫
I guess I'll be waiting for it to hit streaming

@Vivaldi 30 years ago I made a conscious decision to quit wasting brainpower on the walled garden called Windows (both as developer and user), and I switched to Linux. I never looked back.
Today I made a similar decision to leave Linux for #NetBSD because of the AI schism affecting FOSS and Linux in particular thanks to its Emperor Penguin. Unfortunately, that means I'm posting now in Firefox running on NetBSD.
I guess I better start working on a port of Chromium so I can get _back_ to Vivaldi from Firefox. Fortunately, it's well within my wheelhouse...
On FehrTrade today: "making of" the 18th c breeches! Like the matching frock coat, I used a Black Snail pattern and abstract violin print brocade from the #iwtv props auction, along with a bunch of satin lining and tons of covered buttons.
