I love how the reason for all the proposed new data centers is about "winning the AI race with China." Meanwhile opposing the creation of new data centers means you fell for China's bot farm propaganda that is seeking to turn public opinion against US advancement in AI. The implication is that people who oppose new data centers are both anti-American and gullible tools.

Alors ok JLM qui secoue les patrons sur la hausse du SMIC c'est toujours sympa.
Mais c'est vraiment le minimum syndical.
Il faut viser l'indexation de TOUS les salaires (public/privé) sur l'inflation.
Sans quoi les salaires se tassent autour du SMIC.

Anyway: I'm writing a long article right now on the evolution of computers back into mainframes and the restriction of creative tools that strangled the furious creativity of ~1987-2010.
And also desperately trying to design a computer that's just for creativity and not for surveilling the user before it's too late.

On m’a plusieurs fois dit, ces jours-ci : « Ah ! Quel coup de crayon ! » ou autre exclamation supposant une espèce de magie. Y’a pas d'magie. Mais une astuce : je dessine tous les jours depuis l’âge de 3 ans et j’en ai 71. Soit 68 ans, 24 820 jours de travail.
J'suis pas très doué, beaucoup pourraient y arriver en travaillant 2 fois moins que moi. 34 ans seulement, 12 410 jours, c’est rien !
Allez. Tous les jours, samedis, dimanches et fêtes compris. Pour avoir « un sacré coup de crayon ».

The #Green party were victorious in #Kent, winning the council seat of Kingsdown and St Margaret’s-at-Cliffe on Dover District Council last Friday
James Defriend (apt name), the Reform candidate and Dover County Councillor, was widely tipped to win until Restore announced it would run. When they ran, they sucked votes from Reform, allowing the Greens to win!

Le Monde : Présidentielle 2027 : contenter les retraités ou préparer l’avenir de la jeunesse, la difficile équation des candidats face au conflit de générations.
Et sinon on pourrait taxer les riches qui sont de plus en plus riches, épargner les retraités et préparer l'avenir de la jeunesse.
