@LabSpokane There's plenty of actual stuff to worry about. There's really no reason to dig for speculative fantasies of worst-case senarios.
What if Trump orders the national guard to shoot all registered democrats before the election? What if he starts firing judges he doesn't like? What if he loses California to Mexico in a bar bet?
All these things COULD happen, after all.
@mattblaze True, but all *I’m* saying is they will continue to refuse to respect any result which does not serve them, which is what they actually do, rather than a speculation. I agree with you in not inventing possible scenarios and that was the point of my comment. It wastes energy to no end.

@AnarchoNinaWrites the institutionalists in my feed have been screaming that the reporting is misleading. And although they are technically correct (SCOTUS said the injunction was improper because the rule hadn't been made final, which it now has) they don't realize that this means that the court will issue a new injunction that will then be overturned by SCOTUS because they are in the bag for trump. They still think the old rules apply and if I had any hair left I'd be pulling it out at their naivety.
@PaulDitz What I see is SCOTUS keeping the door open to allow them to install Trump as Hitler at a moment's notice. This is necessary because if Roberts said in advance he was gonna help Trump win the election, you'd have time to stop them.
There is no reason to let the government continue with assembling lists of approved voters, if you do not intend to let them rig the mail in ballots. Especially THIS government, which is already openly using lists to target its political enemies.

We report: there is all this convection lately, and we saw the atmospheric pressure drop below 1010 hectopascals for the first time in many months. We have heard of thunderstorms, even tornadoes in other places. Here, we see short, unannounced showers, and timid drizzle at night.
The dude started with the private equity financial shenanigans that brought down Toys R Us (among other companies), and then to blackrock and how private equity has fucked the housing industry, and then brought comparisons between those mechanisms and the "AI" bubbles.
Basically, he made the argument that "AI" economics are designed to be self re-enforcing, citing the RAM and storage shortages as specific examples of engineered scarcity designed specifically to raise prices for the sake of raising prices, consolidating the power of existing players and crowding out everyone else, not because they need the RAM and storage, but because they want them to be scarce.

I don't know anything about the dude. I haven't watched any of his other videos and, while I agree with the bulk of his analysis here, I found some of his framing a little worrying.
But I am still thinking about it.
