@Em0nM4stodon My current employee uses M$ and GMail services. As an ex-IT Consultant, I have the know how to assist in keeping this business going if this becomes reality. Will it? I'm not sure. Thing is, I'm not sure any other employee of this company would know how to make the transition, other than, Apple is an option. I'm not sure how much money this business makes, but I don't see Mac computers in its future. Anyway, I'll help out if and when the time comes, as long as I keep working here.

This piece was published on behalf of campus Marxists called the Socialist Equality Group. They're aligned with a Marxist faction in the UK, called the Socialist Equity Party. @jamey yeah commuter bikes are definitely a thing! they’re a little harder to define as a category though, because bikes marketed as commuter bikes have come in all different shapes and sizes, and people end up commuting on all kinds of bikes never marketed as commuters.

in general, you might expect a commuter bike to have: lights for early mornings, fenders for foul weather, larger tires for rough roads and curbs, a rack, and/or a focus on comfort and safety over speed.

FWIW, I also think this was some of the thinking behind @triketora.com@bsky.brid.gy's original version of @blockpartyapp.com@bsky.brid.gy, which had some really neat "hands off" features for dealing with being on Twitter when you were suddenly brigaded by bad faith harassment swarms...

Not surprising, but a lot of good points Bryan's thread here (you may need to read the underlying thread as well). Empowering tools are only good if they're really empowering. And if they're too slow/complex/require getting punched a bunch first, they're not really empowering.

Like other PQC-KEM methods, Kyber makes extensive use of hashing internally. In Kyber's case, variants of Keccak (SHA-3/SHAKE) are used here, to generate pseudorandom numbers, among other things.[10]

literally the entire fucking "module learning with errors" problem is about sampling from random distributions gratuitously often so of course it's going to need an absurd degree of "randomness"
