I want a map app where I can import all my gpx tracks and then ask it to give me a route to where I want to go. Not the shortest route, not the least hilly route, not the calmest route...
but the route that follows my existing tracks the least.
So that I can experience new places I haven't been before.
Does this exist?
I usually just start out in the general direction of where I want to go, until I get lost, then I activate the map. Or not, depending on how much time I have for staying lost and exploring new places.

Qt apps on Mac stand out because they don’t use the native view classes but they try to mimic the style. Everything looks almost right but behaves subtly differently. It took them over a decade to get the keyboard navigation shortcuts in text fields to behave the same was as every other text field on the system.
@david_chisnall @simulo @freya @aurynn Qt apps looking just different enough to be noticeable on Windows also used to be a problem back when Windows still had unified look.

@rolle Stripe tukee muuten nykyään suomalaisia verkkopankkimaksuja, asetuksista vaan päälle "Pay by Bank". Joten olisi kiva jos Mementomorin jäsenmaksuihin saisi sen päälle.
Toki pienemmät kulut, mutta itse tykkään vähänkään isommat maksaa sillä, koska en pidä käyttötilillä isoja summia rahaa. Säästää siirtämisen vaivan 😄

I'm likely neither scribe nor maker, but I feel moved to respond.
I love my paper books so very much. I love the smell of them, the feel of them, the sheer fucking *power* of them.
But I give them away, because I can't read them any more. I read my books on devices because, on devices, I can zoom in close enough to still read.
@GeePawHill my preference is for paper books, but i don't have enough space to keep them anymore. So now, for new books i get only e-books.

Faire que le système mesure correctement l'état de la batterie.
(Actuellement, la batterie est en bon état, mais même chargée à 100% le système s'éteind immédiatement dès que je débranche la prise de courant)

Je pensais que les laptops mesuraient réellement la capacité résiduelle d'une batterie.
Enfin, c'est la batterie qui se mesure elle-même.

@mooooooo @jackielovescompchem32 i'm still using AGPL for practical reasons because the license does not stop us from making extralegal demands of our users. i just think copyleft is the floor and that it's more of a legal technique than an ideological stance. i seek justice!
and it's really nice to talk to someone who believes in free software. much more interesting to convince someone who already believes in protecting users ways i think we can do that better rather than someone who has never made sacrifices for ideological reasons
