I regularly inspect the trash thrown away in our apartment complex and I think most people are putting things in the plastic recyclables wrong.
It’s like, the first thing as a foreigner to do is read the trash manuals they give you, or at least I hope.

For context, there are syndicates who have a reasonable record and then there is ShinyHunters. Maybe the folks who've been studying them are all wrong! But I would trust them much less far than I could throw all that money.
