WHY DO THE OFFENSIVE LINEMEN, AS THE LARGEST OF THE FOOTBALL MEN, NOT SIMPLY EAT THE SKILL PLAYERS
@chillybot @tknarr Become a poll worker! They need the help and you’ll learn a ton.
"But what if someone gets it who doesn't deserve it?"
"You seem confused as to what the term 'universal' means. Please allow me to explain, assisted by the musical stylings of Yakko Warner."
@mattblaze
Thanks for all you do, Matt! I was wondering if you had any general recommendations for what citizens who are concerned can do to help do something about the different negative potentialities in regards to election security?

If you live in the U.S.and don’t already speak Spanish, simply learning to speak some, even just a bit, is now an anti-fascist act.
@heidilifeldman excellent idea!! Buy a subscription to duolingo or some other tutorial service....and start speaking it when out shopping, working, etc....simple things, good morning, thank you, etc....oh, can just see maga heads start exploding when everyone, from white to black, start speaking Spanish!!!!
I didn't watch any football today.
And I didn't watch any ads either.
I know, my life is weird.

hey we hacked your cloud to use your tech to figure out which of your customers to hack next is such a goddamn flex
something I've been thinking about is how, when I teach a class, I tell the TAs to never, ever touch the keyboard when they're helping a student with an assignment. not even once! because as soon as someone else is driving, it becomes real easy for the student to stop thinking and just let things happen.
kind of like what happens when we use a coding assistant.

February 7 marks one month since ICE mercenary Jonathan Ross murdered Renee Good.
It was not the first public execution ICE carried out. But because rapid responders caught it on film, there can be no question about what happened—and because angry locals forced ICE to withdraw afterwards, there can be no question about whether it was a tragedy.
Resisting makes us safer.
“Requiring every citizen to provide a passport or birth certificate in person to register or update their voter information would impact all of us, but would especially impact working-class Americans, older voters, women who’ve changed their last name, and those who’ve lost essential documents due to natural disasters.”
// And they are pushing this in the short time between now and November. So also get your docs in order if you can. https://mastodon.social/@indivisibleteam/116036361695890084
@tknarr @va3ekr@mastodon.radio Trump has abused the powers of his office in many previously unimaginable ways. But that doesn’t mean that he’s an all powerful monarch who can do whatever he pleases. The people who want you to believe that he is mostly work for HIM. It’s weird that they’ve somehow convinced many his opponents of it, too.

I took a little bit of time today before my lecture (in under an hour) to explore a small part of Napier's truly impressive biking infrastructure! Nice work, Napier! #ProfSamLectureTour
@sundogplanets Hope you get to see some of the Art Deco Napier has to offer. Napier was rebuilt in Art Deco style after an earthquake in 1931. 💚
@emd On another thought, if the newsletter stuck on substack is literally just clipping other articles, I wonder if something like a bit of hacking around with the Obsidian web clipper + Obsidian publish accomplishes anything. I'm finding it janky but I don't know what I'm doing (and I'm not publishing, just trying to organize some clippings into a web page).
@johannab ya I don’t know about his workflow to make suggestions, unfortunately.
