@emd On another thought, if the newsletter stuck on substack is literally just clipping other articles, I wonder if something like a bit of hacking around with the Obsidian web clipper + Obsidian publish accomplishes anything. I'm finding it janky but I don't know what I'm doing (and I'm not publishing, just trying to organize some clippings into a web page).

this makes me wonder how @laurenshof puts together The Fediverse Report mail-outs. Are these different in scope from what David is talking about, or a manual way of doing it?
I wonder if this is something Ghost *could* add but doesn't have the demand for? I don't really understand how substack is operating under the hood, though, so not sure how the function he's referring to is built.
