I think the appearance of free software really broke the oligarch's brains. People are just giving away stuff that should be Shareholder Value? And we *can't* buy it off them and own it? People are just running a compiler whenever they like to make whatever they want without paying anyone?
The push to adopt LLM-powered code generation tools is so frenzied and desperate partly because it's a perceived solution to claw back ownership of the means of production into the Right Hands.

Anyway, in Elixir of course the people coming from other languages want to use `if` all the time because that's what they are used to. As a former Erlang dev I never use `if` in Elixir.
Turns out in Elixir, `if` is actually a macro that uses `case` under the hood.
So you might as well just use case statements ;)

@fahrni I've been super impressed with the Panthers (who sadly lost) and the 49ers (gutsy takedown of the champs). Everyone else has been meh.
@j Look at the bracket in the NFC. Three of the four remaining teams are NFC West teams. Crazy strong division this year.
My son-in-law is a Panthers fan so he’s bummed about the loss but thrilled about the turnaround in their season.
@jsbarretto expect you know about it and not sure how relevant it is, but in case.. #Publii is a client side CMS for static sure generation which is modelled on WordPress. So no server side other than a web server.
