I really wonder how much of a crimp is gonna be put into the current golden age of cheap computing devices over the next 2 years or so due to AI assholes vacuuming up every component they can get their hands on ... all fabs are now maxed out and there are shortages of RAm, NAND, and HDDs
Apparently the Senate will not complete work tonight toward ending the shutdown even with the cooperation of some traitorous Democratic senators who should begin planning alternative jobs outside of politics. This means that tomorrow (remember, Tuesday is a holiday) is THE DAY to tells ALL of these senators how you feel about their abandoning the millions of Americans who need health care, not a useless health care vote. MAKE SURE THEY HEAR FROM YOU!
I must strongly disagree that that looks like an “antique book.” #Monsterdon
@soop I don't think anyone is as harmed by my discussion of political topics they find uninteresting as I would be harmed by being required to self-censor them.
i did another one from the book

@shauna another advantage is that there is no donation limit to those organizations. So if you can afford it you can give more than you could to any one individual candidate.
Folks, it doesn’t matter that Schumer voted “no”. He got the Dem caucus on board with caving. THEN the caucus figured out who should vote yes to provide cover for D Sens up for reelection in 2026, who might have been in serious danger of being primaried. As for the retiring D Senators, doing their colleagues this favor now serves their interest in post-retirement lobbying access and influence. 1/

Bullshit
Enough #Democrats voted with #Republicans to allow a spending deal that would reopen the government without the extension of Affordable Care Act subsidies they had originally sought.
