Is the RAM used for the AI boxen compatible with normal desktops and servers?
When the AIpocallapse finally happens will we be able to pick up memory sticks for our boxen?
Will it just be slag even if technically compatible?
A brown squirrel, a purple rabbit or an orange creature carrying a bag with a mole in it will replace East Japan Railway Co.'s penguin character used for its Suica smart card system. https://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2026/09/09/japan/suica-card-penguin-design-retire/?utm_medium=Social&utm_source=mastodon #japan #suica #jreast #rail

Kia ora,
As an individual customer, you cannot get a direct API key from Kiwibank to query your own accounts, because Open Banking APIs are built only for accredited third-party providers and registered businesses.
Instead of using API keys, you share your data safely by connecting an approved app or service to your account. Here's more information on the below link.

I replied that it isn't really open if I need a 3rd party to use it...

@bigblen too right!
If you’re only on Mastodon to make money, this is probably the wrong place for that. That’s what I love about this platform.
Most of us are here to just hang out and see what other people are posting for the fun of it 🤠
May your skies be unreal, friends. With Earl.
You can *already* pre-order my next novel, Good Things Are Coming Your Way! And if you pre-order from Barnes and Noble in the next couple days and use the code PREORDER25, you can get a 25 percent discount! (Must be a B&N Member.)

At this point I think a year from now the Apple community might not even be on Mastodon. I think it’ll all just go away. People will still be making apps but maybe just writing on their personal blogs? 🤷♂️
@refactoredd Meh, the people leaving now weren’t planning on staying here for the long run in the first place.
There’s still a big community of tech fans who are very happy to be here, you could take this as an opportunity to discover more of that community! :-)
Spoiler alert: Persona 6's achievements have leaked
Looks like in #Persona6 you're going to be a cop for an organization called Hex? The ACAB crew won't be happy about this, as if there weren't enough reasons already to boycott Atlus and Sega...
today i found out that Carsales is listed on the ASX and has a $10b market cap - fucking wild stuff
I used to enjoy sharing many of the things I love here , but with the state of things here in Freedomland I have lost my zest.
I still love riding my bike & messing about with my Atari stuff, but sharing that seems irrelevant these days.
Here is a random Atari pic so that I can claim I tried.
@azonenberg yep I feel this. Could be a magic wakeup sequence not followed exactly, could be slightly bad timing, could be a faulty display
@jpm it's not a bad display i have a whole batch of them and have used one on another board fine using almost the same code.
I'm suspecting subtle timing or bugs related to half duplex on the stm32h7 spi which I haven't done before. I saw some timing weirdness i still need to investigate
@famousblueben Yeah!
... Twoish years ago I started in Jan 96 and watched through all of nitro, as much Saturday Night as I could find, and eventually Thunder.
Because of life stuff, I ended up bailing out about 6 months in to 1998 and I haven't picked it back up.
@famousblueben One thing I learned through all that, though, is that I *loved* Saturday Night. WCW had the best mid-card.
@jpm That toot can't hurt me because I don't know that song.
@abstractcode I’m sorry / you’re welcome

I'm no historian but weren't frontiers where a lot of the genocide was committed?
You know who actually did show up at Ground Zero? Canadian emergency rescue crews.
Sorry, the app encountered an unexpected error
