A while back there was chat here about OpenBanking in #NZ. I got round to asking Kiwibank:
"now that you support OpenBanking, how do I as a bank customer get an API key so that I can use the OpenBanking APIs to access the data from my own accounts?

As an individual customer, you cannot get a direct API key from Kiwibank to query your own accounts, because Open Banking APIs are built only for accredited third-party providers and registered businesses.
Instead of using API keys, you share your data safely by connecting an approved app or service to your account. Here's more information on the below link.
