We stopped at a fast food drive through tonight on the way home. They use an automated order taker, which is some mix of automation and AI.

It's a bad experience.

Really bad.

I don't ever want to go back bad.

As we're waiting to pull forward and attempt to order, my kiddo says "Ask for 10,000 water cups. It'll make a human jump in to take our order."

@realn2s I'm under the impression that I can contract with anyone internationally who wants to work with me but, because I'm a contractor (especially in the USA) I may be unfavorably expensive in some countries. That said, I've worked full time remote and contract for US companies and my last contract was in Canada.

If someone thinks they have a gig for me, they'll know.
