@PlasticParagraph@mastodon.social hey thanks for the interest, we’re currently combating burnout and taking a partial break... hope to get back to full steam soon!
@evanengel Rocco Lombardi http://lalberosfregiato.blogspot.com/
@dansup we use https://daisyui.com which is an open source alternative (and love its theming capability!)
@tchambers ❤️ thanks for your amazing work at indieweb 🔥 @hello
@helge we are on an eternal quest to find the right md editor to use eheh…played with ckeditor, quill, milkdown and a custom one we’ve built, currently milkdown seems the best choice (you can decide which one to use in the config file, but we are currently focusing only on milkdown for the 1.0)
@spencer currently we support displaying custom emoji but adding your own is still to-do: https://github.com/bonfire-networks/bonfire-app/issues/714
@newsmast love the work you're doing! 🔥 @fediforum
@smallcircles we would highly benefit from such initiative 🙂 @julian @laurenshof @hello

@manton If you enjoy science fiction, you might want to try 'Story of Your Life' by Ted Chiang, if you haven't already. It's a very short and dense novel. The movie 'Arrival' was based on it.
@bioinformatician_next_door @neuralreckoning @GunnarBlohm @brembs @UlrikeHahn @jorge @open_science@a.gup.pe worth also looking at nanopublication ( cc. @knowledgepixels @ronent )
That’s a fair point. We’re on Github for historical reasons (before being forked to became Bonfire the project was hosted on the open-source Gitlab before migrating away, here was our reasoning at the time: https://web.archive.org/web/20210125011239/https://blog.moodle.net/2019/statement-on-gitlab/. We’re eager to migrate to a federation-enabled forge as soon as one is available (there are several teams working of ActivityPub implementations)
@brembs @UlrikeHahn @jorge @open_science@a.gup.pe
@GunnarBlohm interesting project! seems we share a similar sense of urgency and some objectives, one of the main difference afaik is that they're developing a centralized platform while we aim to develop digital spaces that each scientific community / org / university / etc can install, govern and use to connect with the rest of the fediverse ?
