Great news! We've just updated our playground instance at https://playground.bonfire.cafe 💥
New release comes with a nice amount of bugs fixed and UX improvements based on community feedbacks (thanks 😘) .

We've also introduced our flexible boundary system...

@etam it is similar in so far as you can create lists to classify your contacts, but instead of being used just to define who can see your posts, they can be used to define who can see/read/reply/tag/edit/delete/etc/etc your post/user/group/instance/etc.

Along with that will come customisable roles for instance administration and moderation (to go beyond just having "admins"), and so we're thinking about what's needed for that, feedback and suggestions are welcome 😃, see details at https://github.com/bonfire-networks/bonfire-app/issues/406

👋 As part of upcoming milestones, we're implementing a way for users to create circles (like in the old G+), but going beyond using it to define audiences (i.e. visibility of content), with very granular ways to define permissions on what you post (i.e. so you can give one of your circles permission to edit your post, or use it simply to lock-down who can reply, etc): https://github.com/bonfire-networks/bonfire-app/issues/223

@Relected@shitposter.club bonfire tends to be an extensible and highly configurable platform (aka framework) to develop any kind of federated apps, that goes beyond microblogging (think at federated calendar / tasks coordinations / governance / and so on)
