@AnarchoNinaWrites I've seen a few people saying "hey I reformed my parents" and that's great, but has absolutely not been my experience. Maaaaybe if all of the reasonable people came out publicly hard against fascism and weren't afraid to straight-up ban fascists from society so there was legitimately a huge amount of social pressure to reform, that might work. But I just don't see that happening here. White supremacy is too deeply baked into the culture to change that much overnight.

A neighbour was out very late last night finishing up the harvest.

A bit more light pollution than usual in photos (because of the extremely bright lights used for night harvesting with a giant combine), but found a tiny bit of auroras, and it was late enough that there weren't many satellite streaks. Yay.

When he's right, he's right... @pluralistic once again lays out the choices we missed and the possibilities that exist, and I admit I'm angry at how we fumbled the ball on this one.

But we *could* make a better future. Let's hope the current generations can do it. And us olds need to encourage this thinking in the youngs.
