I haven't used #GetFediHired yet, but hoping that yall can help some!
I do web development, and have been working with #WordPress professionally for nearly two decades. I value accessibility and snappy performance. I also have experience in training and teaching web development.
Got any PHP or Javascript projects? A Laravel site that needs new features? Someone who loves the intricacies of CSS and HTML? I am actively available and have projects to share as examples!
This community has given me a ton, and I'm hopeful there are folks out there with the right connections
I've been struggling with finding new clients for a while now. I'm not very good at selling myself and my services, nor am I good at overcharging people for basic work like I've seen from a lot of companies that I've worked with.
Most of my clients are small businesses, where a few hundred dollars a month matters a ton. Between the pandemic and AI tools, a lot of my clients have themselves been feeling the hurt too. Which has translated into fewer projects coming in.
For all of the tech folks who celebrated the pandemic as a way to make more money online, yall are ghoulish.
