@RevPudDudley HUH? Mapquest in NOT owned by Google.
@lauren I was playing with it this morning and it even shows what way they are facing! So cool!
@lauren @pseudonym I noticed my un-updated app didn't seem to have it so I'm wondering if it's a trick to get people to download their secret phone surveillance tools.
@corbden @pseudonym If you want new features, you use the new app. Q.E.D.
@lauren @pseudonym Excellent job of missing my point.
@corbden @pseudonym I read it over about fives times. The way you worded it made it sound like you were saying Google owned Mapquest. Precision in syntax matters.
@lauren looks like it's the app only, no thank you!
@lauren are they using #OpenStreetMap data for this layer?
@eliasp You'd have to ask them.
@lauren this is nice! now i just hope they keep it rather than bow to some pressure to get rid of it
@pseudonym Dunno, just passing along the info I received.
Gotcha. Thanks
@lauren seems to be NOT TRUE that Mapquest owned by google
was upset for a minute there
