Fuck, finding a hardware base for my project is proving to be... very difficult. Everything is either huge, or has quirks that aren't acceptable.

@stevenscott Essencially, the cheapest notetaker possible, with completely open firmware and hardware, so a single company can't go out of business and brick a user's device, or leave it without updates.

@alexchapman @stevenscott I've been wanting to build this for a while. The price will, ideally, come out to no more than $200, and the softwaare will be fully signed and secure, using features like full disk encryption, verified boot, and slot-based updates to make it almost impossible for a user to break.
