I'm sure there's a word for that...
[To be clear, there is zero chance of these chatbots being sentient. It's a marketing ploy. But the companies can't claim sentience and still be exempt from the implications of that.]

@TheBreadmonkey I think it’s a terrible and fascinating way to find who is just an abusive person. How does one speak to something? Is it a tool? Is it a girlfriend? Is it a slave? Is it committing ecocide to find out?
"Cruelty to AI" will be a jailable offense in the US in the next year or two, the way things are going.
