I've been struggling with this lately as well. Like, holy shit: the world really is run by a cabal of pedophile cannibals intent on gleefully inflicting as much suffering as they can.

I'm considering the option that if reality is gonna come at me with bullshit grimdark plotlines, then I'm gonna go ahead and go full resistance freedom-fighter.

Little I loathe more than going to any form of media to escape reality only to have the media be an exact mirror of reality.

I know art is often political, but sometimes I just need something different from what we get hammered with every day.

@farah that's why I follow the #today tag. I like to read about people just living their lives and moving through their days. It's nice to know that people can still do that.
