Yes, We Distribute is launching a #Bonfire community and will be collaborating with the devs to build a unique flavor of it. We're still in the process of getting the basics set up, so please...be gentle.
I still have a few chores to do before pulling some levers and migrating our old Akkoma accounts over, but I'm really excited! We've wanted to do Bonfire for a long time!

Yeah. I'm really intrigued by the potential of Bonfire. What's exciting is that it seems like theoretically a Bonfire instance could become just about anything. My main concern is that they'll walk into trying to do/create EVERYTHING, so I'm really hoping a thriving community builds around it to expand and maintain the unique niche flavors of Bonfire. I have a commercial project I'm considering doing with it, but I'd need to try it more myself to see if the current state is ready for what we'd need.
In some ways Bonfire makes me think of a Fedi version of something like Drupal, which isn't just a CMS but a framework that can build many things, including a CMS.
