I'm a little disoriented by the whiplash from what I assumed was "monologue added after the fact because test audiences didn't get it" to normal introductory "here are the characters" narration

@nev There were some lines in Haunting of Hill House , the tv miniseries, that felt really out of place and I think it's because they were just verbatim from the book
