I am looking for beta readers for "Old Goatfoot", my upcoming collection of Devil-tales from German folklore. Beta readers are test readers for books who provide feedback from a fan perspective and help the author identify and fix problems before the book is released.

I will consider you qualified if you (a) have read one of my previous books, or (b) have read and enjoyed multiple folk tale collections by other people.

Since I am writing for an international audience, I am _particularly_ interested in beta readers from outside Europe and the Anglophone countries outside Europe (i.e. USA, Australia, New Zealand), since they might bring unique cultural perspectives to the table. This is not necessary to be a beta reader, but I consider it a bonus.

Beta readers are expected to read and provide feedback on the book manuscript (which currently has a word count of 109,000, although about 20% of that is the bibliography and indices) within four weeks. Beta readers who provide useful feedback will get a free copy of the paperback version of the finished book.

If you are interested, please send me a Direct Message with a short explanation for why you think you are a good fit.
