I've been quiet for about a year. Life has been 'busy' and I've been updating my mental firmware. But I'm feeling more social now, so I'm back.
My current project is an Occam compiler - as used on Transputers. The compiler generates a form of p-code which runs in a lightweight VM. The VM could be written for almost any target so, portable multithreaded code.

@bread80 ooh, that's cool. I was learning about CSP and tried to get funding to create an x86 based #Occam compiler in the early eighties. Good luck.

I was using Z80, also loaned a CPC by a chemist who wanted me to write a prescription printing programme and of course more recently done stuff with #RaspberryPi. No longer the latter though as they've turned against freedom and hacking.
