Fuuuck, this is complicated. But on the flipside, I built GNU Hello from source, using a tarball from the store, and it's more or less reproducible.
derivation gnu.hello-2.12.3 {
input buildtime \
name="hello" \
path="/sickos/store/oqoz1y546pbi8qskbye5fspmnpauqiuu5a8bwhmd74tnzcmha8ko-hello-2.12.3.tar.gz"
builder "/sickos/support/build-systems/autotools.sh" "hello-2.12.3"
output out {
path "/sickos/store/5pgeahgwoamrdqxfwz36k4bftzqipo85brd641rjzxyktoj8mexy-gnu.hello-2.12.3"
hash algo=blake3 "db4c8c70d4861641b9e5a5f3e568258ddd56c0fb0907ed4889bbc0a8c1275a1e"
}
system arch=x86-64 os=linux
}
derivation gnu.hello-2.12.3-source {
builder "/sickos/support/fetchers/curl.sh" \
"https://ftpmirror.gnu.org/gnu/hello/hello-2.12.3.tar.gz"
output out {
path "/sickos/store/oqoz1y546pbi8qskbye5fspmnpauqiuu5a8bwhmd74tnzcmha8ko-hello-2.12.3.tar.gz"
hash algo=blake3 "83a179037af34353baca0811b2d9ab1371375673de0e1a7163eea22bb17cc1d5"
}
system arch=x86-64 os=linux
}
And a fuck derivation build examples/gnu.hello-source.drv examples/gnu.hello.drv, and I have a package!
