@thereisnocat Well I kind of swung around from the pro-JS side to the anti-JS side over the years:

To be fair, the new search page also doesn't work without JS. But I think it's a pretty seldom-used page, and it's nice to use pagefind since it just creates a static search index at build time.
@nolan Interesting posts. Thanks for sharing. I’m not an active web developer any more, but in my last job a couple of years ago I was able to use Remix for a project, which gets called out in a comment on your second post. I was really impressed with it; I could sell other devs on using it because they still got to write modern code, but in a way that lived up to a lot of the ideals of progressive enhancement and universal access.
Funny thing though; I don’t use it for my retirement projects.
@nolan looks great! The theme toggles are fun
@paulhebert Thank you! Normally I wouldn't go for frilly stuff like that, but it was a bit fun, and it fits with the theme. 😆
@nolan No JavaScript? Blasphemy! They’re not going to let you sit with the Cool Kids at lunch any more…. 😉
It’s refreshing to see veteran developers step away from what always struck me as a misguided direction for web dev to head in.
