Sixto Mendoza Limpia, Nahua territory defender and member of the Indigenous and Popular Council of Guerrero - Emiliano Zapata (CIPOG-EZ) in Alcozacán, was arrested and falsely charged with murder on September 28.
After surviving a state-backed paramilitary siege, the state is now deploying its own forces and laws against CIPOG-EZ members.
