Lol, new folks - it's a running bit.

Whenever someone says something I agree with that "Very Serious PeopleTM" around me think is crazy, I say "well gosh darn it, this guy/lady has my vote" - often in a slightly overtly theatrical tone common to US television production stages in the 1950's and 60's.

"Someone oughta drown these bankers in the canal..."

"Well gosh darn it, you have my vote; when are you declaring your candidacy?"
