A very rocky coastline. To the right is a huge rocks, streaked with white, so we know it's popular with sea birds. Between it and the rocky cliff of the shoreline are smaller rocks. The sun is setting in front of us, not seen here, so the rocks are mostly in shadow. Warm light is hitting parts of the scenes and some of the water spray from the surging white water and crashing waves. The sky we see is pale blue, streaked with long horizontal clouds, whites and greys touched with orange. On one of the smaller rocks between us and the massive rock to the right is a white gull, its right edge touched with light and the water spray around it is catching the warm oranges of the setting sun.
